Our plans were created to comply with the majority of national building codes in effect at the time they were drafted. Numerous states and counties modify their local codes. It is the obligation of the buyer and/or builder to ensure that the structure complies with local building codes. Customer indemnifies and holds My Home Floor Plans, Inc., its principals, employees, and agents harmless from any claim, loss, or liability resulting from the plans’ failure to comply with local zoning laws or regulations or for any other breach of this Agreement attributable in whole or in part to Customer or its builder.

Some governments may want a licensed architect or structural engineer in the area where you want to build to look over your building plans. After buying a plan from houseplans.net, the customer is responsible for any extra costs that are needed to meet local building codes and other rules.

Copyright

Return Policy

Before building, the customer must verify all lot conditions and measurements. Due to the fact that local standards and regulations, as well as construction techniques, differ across the nation and worldwide, alternate planning may be required to adapt the plan to your region. Heating and plumbing are therefore not included in our proposals. You should be able to meet with these subcontractors in order to select and plan the most suitable system for your region.
