The purchase of any package on our website is subject to the following terms and restrictions: Please read everything carefully!
Purchased building codes and engineering plans must comply with generally accepted zoning standards. These zoning principles may or may not be consistent with the local zoning rules and restrictions in the area where the customer will build the plans. Our plans were created to comply with the majority of national building codes in effect at the time they were drafted. Numerous states and counties modify their local codes. It is the obligation of the buyer and/or builder to ensure that the structure complies with local building codes. Customer indemnifies and holds My house Floor Plans, Inc., its principals, employees, and agents harmless from any claim, loss, or liability resulting from the plans’ failure to comply with local zoning laws or regulations or for any other breach of this Agreement attributable in whole or in part to Customer or its builder.
Some governments may want a licensed architect or structural engineer in the area where you want to build to look over your building plans. After buying a plan from houseplans.net, the customer is responsible for any extra costs that are needed to meet local building codes and other rules.
Copyright
A multi-license to build is automatically obtained when purchasing a set of blueprints. email support@myhomefloorplans.com if you wish to have this permission sent to your email address. This license allows you to construct as many houses as you choose, make modifications, and use freely.
Return Policy
Due to copyright regulations and the possibility of producing illegal copies of the obtained plans, once the order has been finalized, plans cannot be returned for credit or a refund under any circumstances. Please verify your selection before placing your order.
Guarantee and Disclaimer
The information, plans, and specifications in these publications are supplied “as is” without express or implied warranty, including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. My house Floor Plans, Inc. bears no responsibility for errors or omissions on these pages or in any documents connected to or referenced by these websites. These publications may contain technical or other faults or typographical mistakes. My house Floor Plans, Inc. does not accept responsibility for any errors or omissions in these papers and has the right to make modifications at any time. We provide house plans for construction purposes, but we do not supervise the building process and cannot guarantee that the project is created to the required specifications. The customer is responsible for ensuring that the structure complies with or exceeds local codes and laws. The customer is responsible for obtaining any structural studies, engineering, and specifications that may be necessary in the municipality where the structure will be constructed. Before building, the customer must verify all lot conditions and measurements. Due to the fact that local standards and regulations, as well as construction techniques, differ across the nation and worldwide, alternate planning may be required to adapt the plan to your region. Heating and plumbing are therefore not included in our proposals. You should be able to meet with these subcontractors in order to select and plan the most suitable system for your region.

This document outlines your legal rights and responsibilities when using plans provided by My Home Floor Plans. By opening or reproducing these plans, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms:
NOTICE OF COPYRIGHT
- Protected Work
All plans distributed by My Home Floor Plans are protected under United States Copyright Laws.
- License to Build
The purchaser and their designated contractor, xxxxxx, are hereby granted an Unlimited Build License, authorizing xxxxxx to construct this plan as many times as desired, without any re-use fees.
- Reproduction & Marketing Permissions
- Reproduction Rights
Reproduction of these plans is permitted only for purposes directly related to construction by xxxxxx. Copies may be made in print or electronic format as necessary for building purposes. Any reproduction, resale, distribution, or transfer of these plans outside of construction use is strictly prohibited without prior written consent from My Home Floor Plans.
- Permission for Marketing and MLS Use
My Home Floor Plans grants permission for the purchaser (xxxxxx) and their authorized builder to use rendered images, elevations, or visual representations derived from these plans for MLS listings, real estate marketing, or promotional materials directly related to the construction or sale of homes built from this plan.
Such use is permitted only when:
The use does not imply transfer, resale, or distribution rights for the original plan files or intellectual property. All other rights remain reserved by My Home Floor Plans.
- Reproduction Rights
- Modification Rights
Permission is granted to modify these plans as needed for construction. However, copyright remains with My Home Floor Plans, and neither the original nor modified versions may be sold, distributed, or re-licensed.
- Builder/Owner Responsibility
Because site conditions, building codes, and engineering requirements vary, My Home Floor Plans cannot warrant the suitability of these plans for every location. It is the responsibility of xxxxxx and/or the property owner to ensure compliance with local codes and regulations.
- Study-Only Materials
Any items marked “FOR STUDY ONLY” are not intended for construction and may not be reproduced for building purposes.
IMPORTANT LEGAL NOTICES
- Structural Certification:
These plans do not include engineering or structural certification. xxxxxx (or a licensed design professional in the applicable state) must obtain certification for compliance with state and local building codes before construction begins. - Modifications:
Any modifications may invalidate included structural notes or assumptions. A licensed professional must review and approve all structural changes. - Record Keeping:
Always retain at least one original copy of these plans, along with this Construction License, in a safe location for legal verification.
NO REFUNDS OR EXCHANGES
All plan purchases are final. No refunds or exchanges will be provided once plans have been delivered.
FILE & PLOTTING INSTRUCTIONS
- File Name: MYHFP 13-1763.dwg
- Software: AutoCAD (or compatible CAD program)
- Plot Size: ARCH D (24″ x 36″)
- Plot Style: Monochrome (monochrome.ctb)
- Procedure:
- Open 13-1763.dwg in AutoCAD.
- Use ARCH D paper size when plotting.
- Apply the monochrome plot style table.
- If walls are solid black – Click on Plot Style Editor → Edit Color 253 → Change Screening to 50%.
- Verify page numbering as required.
Summary of Rights Granted
- Unlimited Build License – xxxxxx is authorized to construct this plan as many times as desired.
- Reproduction Allowed for Construction – Copies may be made as necessary for construction purposes.
- Modification Allowed – Plans may be modified, but copyright remains with My Home Floor Plans.
- Structural Certification Required – xxxxxx (or a licensed design professional) must certify the plans in their state for code compliance.
- Transfer Prohibited – Neither the purchaser nor xxxxxx may sell, license, or distribute these plans.
